...is that I don't know where to go for help.
I have a really nasty linker problem that makes no sense at all, and the only way I'm going to get past it is to find someone who is clueful enough to figure it out for me. Only I have no one to ask. So I'm stuck. So it's hopeless.
The upshot is, I Can't Do This By Myself, but I'm stuck in an ethos that says that if you can't figure things out without pestering everyone around you, you're clueless and should go away. Argh.
