With the copious help of people on -c sipb, I got zephyr running on OS X. (This includes everything except the server, because I ran into a compilation problem with the server on Linux, so figured that getting it to work on OS X was doomed until the problem on Linux could be investigated / resolved.) Yay! I already feel more hackerly and clueful. (And I got all annoyed and implemented "make distclean" for zephyr, because I kept needing it. I kind of want to push that patch upstream.)
Now I'm going to try to get owl running. I hope that is less, erm, entertaining. And then I'll see if I can package these things for fink.
