So I just discovered this thing called Bookmooch. This is pretty cool, since the merger of my library with
knell's means that we have quite a few duplicate books. So I spent a few minutes happily entering those duplicates as "books I'm willing to give away", and threw in The Da Vinci Code because, although I can't make myself actually throw away a book, I want that vile rubbish out of my house.
And then I looked at the list of "most available" books—that is, the books for which there is all supply and no demand. Guess what topped the list?
I guess I'm glad that humanity at large has taste after all, but so much for getting rid of the book that way.
