1. Health insurers suck. I got a second notice from BCBS today refusing to pay the Quest bill, which means that I had to write a check today to avoid being hounded by a collections agency on Quest's behalf. That means that I get to say "no, please don't give me the STD screening, my insurance doesn't cover it" at my next physical. (Also: I need to schedule my next physical.)
2. New toy continues to rock, though I continue not to be able to get GPRS via Bluetooth to work. I may have to resort to calling T-Mobile about this. Relatedly, I have a Palm III and a Palm i705 to get rid of. I am wondering if I am brave enough to eBay them. I also have some books I could stand to get rid of.
3. I didn't go to work today, because my stomach was unhappy. Instead I slept until 3:30. I am sure I will regret this tomorrow. I should be stepping back off the project merry-go-round tomorrow when I talk to a couple of people. Ha. We'll see how long that lasts.
4. I dropped off a bundle of clothes at the UU church in Arlington, where some charity or another is organizing a yard sale. So as soon as I ship a box off to my mother, I will be rid of all the clothes I have culled. Yay less moving weight. I also finally remembered to get the phone bill switched over to Grant's name. Next step is to figure out which of my assorted papers can be thrown out, which can go to my parents for storage, and which I want to keep but don't want anywhere near my parents. (Speaking of papers, my desk has gotten kind of distressing. I sense a bunch of filing in my future.)
5. I picked Shweta & Nathaniel, the Berkeleyites, up from the airport yesterday, and had Bertucci's pasta/chicken/cheese yummycrack for dinner. Plans for the weekend solidified some more. And tonight I am going to go see Tomb Raider II, in the hopes that I can see that goddamn smirk wiped off Angelina Jolie's face, at least temporarily. (The Croft estate is in Bucks, which is close to Oxon. Clearly I will have to go poking around. Heh.)
6. I hope to get the car transferred to new ownership RSN. I will probably have to renew the plates though. Grr, argh.
